Stupid MacUpdate review form FORCES you to add a dislike, so I picked "social media integration" because obviously AppCleaner doesn't do that. What AppCleaner DOES to is find nearly every little file associated with an app you're throwing away, and offer to delete those files too. I've been using it for years, and it's fantastic!

This is a great, reliable app that never does anything sneaky. I rely on it to clean out all the widely distributed pieces of apps I'm deleting, and I'm always happy with how it works. Getting this for free is really incredible.

Been using this for so long that I forget when I first got it.
Works first time, every time, and gets rid of tons of associated files when you delete an app from your Mac.

This app is a MUST-HAVE apps, ones that you immediately install on a new Mac or reinstall on a "fixed & overhauled" Mac. So if you If you're reading this, look no further than this site to get your Mac a foolproof, *thorough,* no-ads, top-of-the-line app uninstaller, because the EXCLUSIVELY uninstaller-dedicated AppCleaner is ALL YOU'LL NEED! Put the AppCleaner icon up in your Finder window menubar & just drag n drop any app you don't want anymore onto that AppCleaner icon & right away a list will pop up of not just the *.app file, but ALL of that app's ancillary files spread out in different System & Library folders.

I've been using this excellent (and Free!) application for quite some time, and it works very well. There are times it does not find every file associated with an app. But for me, no problemo! I just subsequently launch another excellent free app EasyFind, and use it to find any more remaining files. AppCleaner and EasyFind: definitely a winning (and Free!) combination! Both easily deserve 5 stars!

It might be free, but it still fails in my tests when tested head-to-head with AppDelete (last updated in 2017, but still work great in Ventura) and Remove-It. Tried it on the app BusyCal. AppDelete found 18 items to delete, all of the legitimate. Remove_it found only 11 items, but all were associated files with BusyCal. AppCleaner found 12 items, but it included additional data files for BusyContacts, which is a different app. These version were tested just now, 11/28/2022.
